I discovered Yoga in 2003 as a way to alleviate the physical and mental stresses of prolonged touring. A professional musician for 15 years, I found that my Yoga practice gave me radical changes in strength and mental clarity whilst maintaining my health in a very unhealthy profession! The physical benefits over time deepened and led me to develop an interest in meditation, Pranayama (breath control) and the study of Sanskrit.
Why And How I Teach
At the heart of my teaching method is the desire to introduce the student to the wider and more ancient aspects of Yoga practice whilst building their strength and confidence through Asana. My classes therefore aim to combine the high octane workout of Power Yoga while looking to explore the quieter relationship between body, breath and spirit.
