Educate and Flow is a series of workshops to expand your practice with anatomy insights and discovery of fundamental principles of movement
In these workshops we will break down specific anatomical muscle groups or specific areas of your body to deepen awareness of what is happening in your body and practice. We begin with a short lecture on the topic and move onto applying the learnings in a yoga flow.
You will learn how to activate and move more specifically whilst discovering your body on a whole new level.
Elina has recently been diving into further studies in anatomy and movement and can’t wait to share some of this with you. Her intention is to simplify anatomy and make it easy for you to apply in your practice.

We use shoulders a lot in yoga and in regular day to day activity – we are asking a lot of our shoulders. However, we don’t always have access to the range of motion and strength required, in particular as we keep repeating the same movements in the same way.
In this workshop we will break down the muscles groups and begin to understand how to strengthen this area for poses like chatturanga and arm balances as well as opening the shoulder area for deeper backbends. We begin with a short lecture on the topic and move onto applying the learnings in a yoga flow.
Bring your mat, block and 2 myofascial release balls (or 2 tennis balls). Come ready to learn and move.
