- Lumi 2013-2026, what a journey -Lumi studio has now closed its doors and we are filled with gratitude for all the experiences that we all have had at Lumi between 2013 and 2026.Lumi started with a vision to create a space where each and every one could feel at home and be part of a community. We leave this chapter behind us in the knowledge that the vision became a reality in the most human, perfectly imperfect way. Thank you for being part of Lumi, whether it has been for one class or for years. You have made Lumi special and we are filled with gratitude that we have been able to experience Lumi with you. We will keep the memories and the Lumi energy with us for the rest of our lives.
This is not a decision we wanted to make and we explored different ways to keep going. However financial realities made closure unavoidable.
For 13 years Lumi has been a place where millions of downdogs have revitalised our bodies (yes, it really is millions!). Countless of hugs have healed our hearts. Drops of sweat have strengthened our will. Tears of release have created space for something new. Transformations big and small have made a difference to us, you and people around you. Joy has often bubbled into laughter, together.
