OVERVIEW

All of us, regardless of age or yoga experience, can improve our balance. The key is reconnecting to our base and deep stabilising muscles, while mindfully directing energy through breath and the power of drishti, our focused gaze.

Once these principles are in place, we can get creative – shifting our gaze, closing our eyes, varying our base, and exploring both static and dynamic balance.

When we cultivate this mindful connection to our foundation, we feel steadier, more grounded, and better equipped to navigate the natural fluctuations of both movement and life.
