First Aid For Yoga Teachers- -
Although we all like to see our yoga classes and practice as a haven of peace and relaxation, yogi’s can suffer injuries or accidents at any time. If this happens, its important that the yogi in need receives the immediate attention they need as soon as possible.
Yoga teachers and student teachers are advised to hold a valid first aid certificate and to renew that qualification every 3 years. If you do not have a valid certificate, or if you need to renew your existing one, this course will be appropriate for your needs.
Aimed at Yoga Teachers the course “Emergency First Aid at Work” is in accordance with The Health and Safety (First Aid) Regulations 1981 and enables you to administer first aid to the current guidelines from the resuscitation council (UK) and is made relevant to the injuries and incidents you may encounter in the yoga studio.
On successful completion of the one-day course, candidates will receive a comprehensive first aid manual and a certificate confirming that they have been trained to the above standards to administer CPR and first aid in an emergency situation. The training is valid for three years from the date of certification.
