A Weekend Workshop to Advance Your Understanding of Yogic Philosophy with Pete Cherry, 12 - 13 May 2018.
One of the classic texts underpinning yogic philosophy are the Yoga Sutra's of Patanjali, laying out an 8-fold path of yoga of moral and personal guidelines, asana (posture practice), pranayama (breathwork) and levels of meditation. In this weekend workshop, we will take an indepth look not only at the Yoga Sutras, but also at other important texts to gain a better understanding of essential philosophical concepts of yoga. As a yoga teacher or teaching assistant, you already have technical tools for hands-on assisting and perhaps plenty of experience. This training starts from baseline technical skills and moves assisting to another level based on individual assists, delivered with intuition.
This workshop is part of the Lumi 300hr Teacher Training, but is open to all yoga teachers as well as graduates of the Level 1 Assisting Training.

This training is for anyone wanting to empower children through yoga. Through study of tools, techniques, child psychology – and most importantly play – you will learn how to work together with children in a yoga class to support their individual needs and inspire positive changes in their lives.
