Ines Loughrey- About us -
I came to yoga when I was at a significant low in life. Through my practice, I soon rediscovered the connection I’d once had and loved with movement and physical expression when I used to dance, and was hooked once I started to see how much a regular practice was changing my life.
Alongside of teaching studio classes, my latest project has been teaching yoga to people in recovery from addiction, and I’m very excited to have teamed up with Lumi Foundation to do this.
Why and how I teach
I teach to share the gifts that yoga has enriched my life with. I truly believe that this is a profoundly transformational practice, and I love to hold space and offer tools for people to discover this for themselves. My aim is to share the teachings in a way that is practical and applicable to day to day life. I work with students to build a strong foundation from which to foster a sense of curiosity and creativity, to see what’s possible both on and off the mat.
